Train troubles in southern Illinois when a freight train derailed early Sunday morning in Mount Vernon en route to Indiana.
Eight cars went off the tracks but somehow manage to remain upright and not fall over. Officials say one of the cars was leaking ethanol, but that leak was quickly repaired.
No evacuation was necessary, and no injuries were reported afterward. There is still no answer as to what caused the train to derail, and officials say it will take a couple of days to repair the damaged tracks.
