Early this morning, traffic restrictions were lifted at the intersection of Grape Road and Douglas Road in Mishawaka, Ind.
The traffic controls were put in effect on June 18 to allow NIPSCO to relocate gas lines.
The work was expected to last three weeks but finished ahead of schedule and before the busy Fourth of July holiday week.
This project was critical to improve reliability, allowing better access for future maintenance and repair work.
