A Tippecanoe Valley School Corporation employee was arrested Friday for allegedly providing alcohol to a minor.
Police say 49-year-old David Swanson provided alcohol to a 15-year-old student, and had reportedly been giving beer and hard liquor to the student since the student was 13-years-old.
Swanson reportedly provided the teen with moonshine at his Bourbon home twice this year, once in January and once in February.
Police say Swanson intended the student to take five quart jars of moonshine and sell them for $25.00 each. Police say Swanson was manufacturing moonshine on his property using a still.
Swanson was taken into custody Friday facing charges of maintaining a common nuisance, a Class D felony, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, a Class A misdemeanor.
David Swanson is listed as a computer technician, according to the Tippecanoe Valley School Corporation website.
