ST. JOSEPH COUNTY Police are looking for a driver who caused a three-vehicle crash at a busy intersection overnight.
It happened just before 12:30a.m. Tuesday, at the intersection of Bittersweet and Day in St. Joseph County.
A semi tractor trailer and a Nissan Altima were stopped at a red light, headed south on Bittersweet. Then a light-colored, older model SUV ran into the back of the Altima, pushing it into the semi.
The SUV driver flipped a U-turn and headed back north on Bittersweet. Police suspect the vehicle has heavy front end damage from the impact.
The drivers of the semi and the Altima were not injured, but the Altima is likely totaled.
