ELKHART, Ind.--- Three men were arrested Saturday after an attempted robbery at the site of a 2013 double homicide.

According to our reporting partners at The Elkhart Truth, police arrested 20-year-old Robert Smith, 19-year-old Leonard Taylor and 20-year-old Akheem Purnell.

Police say the men went into Saleh's Market on Middlebury St. demanding money, pointing a gun and then firing shots.

They didn't get away with any money, and no one was hurt.

Back in September 2013, 55-year-old Jagtar Bhatti and 20-year-old Pawan Singh were shot and killed inside the store, where they both worked.

Kevin Moore, 29, was sentenced to 120 years for his involvement in the robbery and murders.

Richard Gross, 22, received 100 years.
