Teenager involved with teachers death pleads guilty on lesser charge

Michigan City, Mich. A retired Michigan City teacher was killed in 2012, now a teenager reportedly involved in the case has pleaded guilty to a lesser charge.

According to the Times of Northwest Indiana, 17-year-old Martell Anderson received a charge of Felony Robbery after he said he would testify against three others charged in the murder of Gerald Peters.

Anderson pleaded guilty to that charge in court this week. He now faces a sentence of up to 50 years.
