Efforts to move the college football hall of fame to Atlanta have been restarted and renewed.
That's according to a news release from the National Football Foundation.
The hall is now slated to open in Atlanta in the fourth quarter of 2014.
The release notes that the project has made great progress over the last several months, with new sponsors and a new management team coming on board.
The hall's lease in South Bend, expires at the end of 2012.
