If spending a few hours surrounded by candy sounds like a fun way to spend your day, there's a way to do it without adding to your waistline.
The sweet exhibit at the Center for History in South Bend chronicles the history of chocolate, candy and ice cream in a way that brings it to life for visitors.
“We had a lot of photographs and histories of the companies. We also worked very closely with the companies who are still here today,” says Director of Marketing, Marilyn Thompson.
The Center for History is open Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 12 p.m. to 5 p.m..
