Suspects posing as police officers break into home

Two men posing as police officers allegedly broke into a home in Watervliet Township.

On Wednesday just before 10:00 pm two men told the homeowners they were police officers. Once the suspects were inside the house they held the two victims at gunpoint and got away with an unknown amount of cash.

The victims told police that at least one of the suspects was armed with a handgun.

The first suspect was described as a white male in his 50’s with gray hair, approximately 6’3, weighing around 270 pounds. He was wearing dark slacks, a white button down shirt, and cowboy boots. He had a deep and raspy voice.

The second suspect was described as a white male in his late 40’s with dark hair and a slender build. He was approximately 6 foot, weighing around 180 pounds. He was wearing a white button down shirt and a dark windbreaker.
