South Bend South Bend arson investigators say a blaze last week at the County-City Building Department, was started with what they're calling a fire bomb, and they're now searching for the person responsible.
Crews were dispatched around 1:30 a.m. Monday morning, to the building at 125 South Lafayette. Firefighters were able to put the flames out quickly, thanks to the sprinkler system, that prevented a lot of damage, but putting out the fire did cause some water issues in the building.
Authorities are now looking for a white man, who they say threw the fire bomb, breaking a window.
