Students help teachers move into new St Joe H.S

The first day in the new St. Joseph High School is getting closer.

Teachers are currently moving into their classrooms, some of them with the help of students.

St. Joseph high school requires all of their students to fulfill hours of community involvement as part of their enrollment.

Some of them are getting an early jump on that requirement by helping pack and unpack teachers into the new classrooms.

And while it may be a bit of hard work, It does come with its perks.

"Our students are eager to see the building without a doubt,” said Marty Harshman, Assistant Principal and Varsity Basketball Coach. “But, um, you know they understand and they want to help. There is a lot to still be done and things that we need them for. And they want to be part of the process and they have been a part of the process."

A dedication ceremony will take place on Saturday, August 25, at the school. The first day of classes will be the following Wednesday, August 29.
