Once again an area hospital has been named one of the "most wired" ones in the nation.
Last year Newscenter 16's Frank Waugh featured St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka in a story as one of the hospitals receiving recognition for the adoption and use of health information technology.
And the hospital has been named to the "most wired" list again.
Seven health care facilities in Indiana were named.
The magazine said hospitals are continuing to improve technology to not only upgrade patient care but also their efficiency.
The hospitals listed were named after being surveyed about their IT initiatives.
