It is that time of the year again: when school is out, the heat is on, and county fairs are underway.
One of the first ones of the season is going on right now: the St. Joseph County 4H fair.
It will take place until July 7.
The fair showcases all different entertainment acts, 33 different rides, animals and food, all in the name of fun.
Monday night at dusk, there will be a laser light show all included in the admission price.
"Once you come into our fair grounds, any attractions or ground acts, anything going on in the grand stand or one of the sports arenas, it's all free,” said Fair Board Director Mark Tingle.
Tickets for the fair are $8 a person, $5 for seniors, and children eight-years-old and younger are free.
For those worried about the heat, many buildings will have air conditioning, and mist fans are placed throughout the grounds.
