Two hotly contested items on South Bend's City Council agenda were tabled Monday.
The city council was supposed to talk about a smoking ban ordinance that would force bars and restaurants to be smoke free.
Co-sponsors of the bill say more time to review the public's input was needed.
They were also supposed to talk about the whistler-blower ordinance that would protect employees that would report wrong-doings within their company or business.
Both were tabled until the July 9, 2012 meeting.
