The South Bend School Board will meet Wednesday to swear in a new board member.
Maritza Robles was chosen to fill the vacancy of former board member Stephanie Spivey.
Spivey resigned from her position after moving out of state.
Robles is a former employee of the South Bend School Corporation.
She was among 31 candidates who applied to fill the position vacancy, which included two former South Bend School Board presidents.
