The Irish take on the Miami Hurricanes at Soldier Field this weekend, and the South Shore Line is preparing for the crowds on board to the game

While there are no alcohol restrictions on the trains departing South Bend this Saturday, coolers and glass bottles will be prohibited.

According to the Transit Police, this rule will be in place on the entire railroad throughout the day as a safety precaution for both passengers and employees..

“We suspect that rider ship on the train tomorrow to go watch the football team play tomorrow will be huge. They are doing well, exceptional season. We think that the loyalty of the fan base is going to go right along with them," said Mike Daigle, South Bend Airport Executive Director.
