South Bend appears poised to back-track where busking is concerned.
At Monday's council meeting, members will be asked by the city's licensing director to suspend the enforcement of the busking ordinance.
That ordinance regulates street performers in the downtown.
It limits them to a specific area, and requires them to pay $20 for a permit.
Last month, a lawsuit was filed by the ACLU claiming that the rules violated the 1st and 14th Amendments.
