South Bend woman arrested for trafficking while visiting prison inmate

A female visitor to the Indiana State Prison was arrested after trying to pass off packages containing illegal substances to a prisoner.

Nancy Odynski, 42, of South Bend, is being charged with trafficking, a Class C Felony and punishable by up to eight years in prison.

Odynski was visiting prisoner, Craig Hardesty, when she trafficked several packages containing K2, suboxone and tobacco into the prison.

She was arrested on the spot.

Hardesty is serving a total of four years for theft and receiving stolen property. His earliest release date is March of 2016.
