About 1200 people in South Bend lost power for a short period of time Wednesday.
A spokesperson for Indiana Michigan power says it happened around 10:30 a.m. in the eastern downtown area near Colfax.
It was caused by a switch failure along the distribution system.
The power was back on for everyone shortly after 12:30 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.
