SOUTH BEND, Ind. All of the snow continues to cause some problems for drivers.

New parking restrictions are being implemented Thursday and Friday in South Bend.

And, depending on the day and whether or not the city is in a snow emergency, you may have to park on different sides of the streets.

Now, starting Thursday, South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg and the director of streets, Paul South, are implementing new parking restrictions.

They're asking folks to park on the side of the street with even house numbers Thursday.

That regulation will be in effect beginning at 8 a.m. and will last 24-hours.

Then on Friday, folks are asked to park on the other side of the street, the side with odd addresses.

The new restrictions are being put in place because of the amount of snow, which makes it tough for crews to get to the curb line.

And as always, if people have any questions, they can call 311.

They also said they will make sure to get the word out whenever they are going to implement these restrictions.
