St. Joseph Co., Ind. A two-car wreck this morning in St. Joseph County sent three people to the hospital.

It happened around 9:20 a.m. at the intersection of U.S. 20 and Quince Road.

A woman was driving her white pickup truck north on Quince Road when police believe she had some sort of medical emergency and lost consciousness while behind the wheel.

The pickup crashed into a green SUV heading west on U.S. 20 and finally came to a rest after slamming into a boulder on the side of the road. Investigators say the woman may have been speeding, as the impact of the crash caused the rock to move.

The driver of the pickup, who told police she had no memory of the accident, and the two people inside the SUV were all taken to the hospital to be checked out for minor injuries.
