Sodus man dies in ATV accident
A Sodus Township man is dead after a horrible ATV accident.
Elmer Froehlich, 69, was pronounced dead by the Berrien County Sheriff’s Department.
Froehlich had been deer hunting and was just getting home when the accident happened Thursday night. His brother, August, found him pinned under the ATV in the driveway and called 911.
An autopsy is planned.
Froehlich had lived in Sodus his entire life as a farmer.
