Snowmobile driver arrested after crash

The driver of a snowmobile that was hit by an SUV Tuesday evening has been arrested for operating an off-road vehicle on a public roadway.
A passenger on the snowmobile was injured in the crash at West Telegraph and Orchard Street in Dowagiac.
According to The Herald Palladium, the driver was cited for driving an ORV with a suspended license and disregarding a stop sign. He is being held at the Cass County Jail.
Police remind snowmobile drivers they are not allowed to drive on the road. The same rules apply to ATV’s.
