Working out can sometimes be rather expensive, but what some people may not know is that there is a program for people who have Medicare, in which they can have their gym membership paid for.
It is called Silver and Fit and now the Kroc Center in South Bend is among the places that have the program.
“The advantages of working out at the Kroc Center and having a membership exceeds just health and fitness,” said . “Obviously, the longevity, the social networking, the community, everything that really dives into this fellowship, that really helps you to maintain a healthy wellness, throughout your body: physically, intellectually, spiritually”
For people who have Medicare and have not already selected the Silver and Fit program, October 15 through December 7 is the window of time to do so..
