Memorial set up to remember Mishawaka High teen killed in car accident

The community continues to mourn the loss of a Mishawaka teen.

Mishawaka High School senior A.J. Ryor died early Monday morning on his way home from a movie with some friends.

A memorial can now be found in front of the teen's house set-up by his fellow teammates, and decals are being sold in his memory.

There was a somber mood on the first day of school at Mishawaka High School.

A popular face will no longer be roaming the hallways. He was an excellent student and well known on the baseball team

“He was fantastic hard working very polite gentleman. I mean he was a definite student athlete, did well in the classroom,” says Mishawaka Coach Baseball coach John Huemmer.

Funeral arrangements are now set for Thursday and Friday. Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Hahn Funeral Home in Mishawaka. Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Friday.
