Science “came alive” Saturday at the St. Joseph Public Library as kids from the area spent the day learning about everything from physics and chemistry, to weather.
Stormteam 16’s Cindi Clawson and Mike Hoffman took the stage at the library to explain all things weather to a packed crowd of children and parents.
They taught the group how meteorologists use both science and art to prepare daily weathercasts, hoping to inspire a few future weathermen and women.
Each of the library’s four floors was transformed into a science lab for the 21st annual event. The floors included hands-on experiments and more than 35 exhibits for visitors to explore and learn.
