Scam artists using text messages for fake Best Buy gift cards

Scammers are targeting text message users with a text message that says they have won a gift card from Best Buy.

The scam message is coming from various numbers.

The text message reads, "Your entry last month has won. Go to BestBuyWinners.MOBI and enter code 4757 to claim your free $1,000 Best Buy gift card."

The message may give a phone number to call instead of a website.

The Better Business Bureau is telling people to not call or click on the link because scammers are likely fishing for personal information.

Best Buy is trying to get the word out about the scam through a recorded message on its phone line.
