Scam Alert: Best Buy warns of text message scam

A new scam is hitting mobile phone users just in time for the holiday season. It comes via text message and says you've won a free $1,000 gift card to Best Buy.
The text provides you with a code and wants you to click on a link to claim your prize.
The site than asks you to provide personal information such as birthday and email address.
Warnings from Best Buy's official website say this is a scam. The company also hopes anyone receiving one of these texts will contact them at abuse@bestbuy.com.
