For $150, you could be the owner of a new house, car or cash prize. It's all a part of the 22nd annual House Raffle Fundraiser, hosted by the St. Joseph Regional Medical Center.
Place builders built the grand prize home, located at 18175 Baldwin Drive in Bradford Shores, near the intersection of Adams and Ironwood Road. The 2-story house is valued at $350,000 with 4 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths.
Net proceeds benefit SJRMC's Sister Maura Brannick Health Center, which provides healthcare to uninsured people, and the Women's Care Center, serving new moms and their babies.
House raffle offers go on sale Tuesday, starting at 8 a.m. at the St. Joseph Regional Medical Center on Holy Cross Parkway in Mishawaka. Offers are $150 each, and only 3,590 will be sold. The odds of winning one of the prizes are 1 in 94.
The House Raffle drawing will be at 5p.m. on Friday, May 3rd at SJRMC. An open house will be held Saturday-Sunday, March 9th and 10th from 2-4p.m.
The second place winner can choose either a 2013 Honda Civic LX or a 2013 Volkswagen Jetta S, provided by Gurley-Leep Automotive Group. Forty other cash prizes ranging from $5,000-$175 will also be awarded.
