Questionable suit against Sandusky filed in South Bend

In the wake of the Jerry Sandusky scandal, there have been some interesting filings over the last few days including one right here in Northern Indiana that's rather questionable.

A person claiming to be Jonathon Paterno, grandson of Penn State coaching legend Joe Paterno, filed a restraining order against Sandusky in United State District Court Northern District of Indiana.

One problem---a Paterno family spokesman tells ABC27 in Harrisburg---Joe Paterno does not have a grandson named Jonathon.

The filing says the then Penn State marching band member was abused by Sandusky during halftime of the 1992 game against Notre Dame here In South Bend.

The address listed on the paperwork---turns out to be a Chuck E. Cheese in Philadelphia, according to the Harrisburg station.

Again the family of Joe Paterno says Jonathon Paterno does not exist.

There was a similar filing in southern indiana claiming to be Larry Bird's Nephew and in Wisconsin claiming to be the nephew of a former Badger quarterback.
