As we inch closer to the start of spring, The Potawatomi Zoo is getting ready to bid farewell to the colder temps and re-welcome visitors.
Opening day may still be a few weeks away, but dozens of families got a sneak peak at all the animals Saturday afternoon at the zoo's third and final Winter Day.
“He's absolutely adorable and actually he was born on exhibit,” says the Director of the Potawatomi Zoological Society Marcy Dean. “So he's on exhibit. When they're not in the barn, they're out on exhibit, so you can see baby nursing. I think that will be exciting for people not only Saturday to see a baby but in a couple of weeks as well.”
You can check out the newest addition to the zoo family later this month when it re-opens for the season on March 27.
