An investigation into illegal alien activity in Indiana has landed six people behind bars, including one man from Goshen.
Federal agents arrested Margarito Fuentes-Reyes, 50, and five others from Indianapolis.
The group is accused of giving false information, forging documents and making false representations to the Indiana BMV and the Indiana Secretary of State.
All six are facing one count of conspiracy to harbor illegal immigrants and one count of conspiracy to commit mail fraud.
Initial hearings were held today in South Bend.
The group allegedly operated out of Indianapolis and Elkhart.
