Police arrested one of the two mensuspected to have robbed an Elkhart credit union last week.
Officials say Christopher Colemanis, 27, of Elkhart is responsible for robbing the Chiphone Credit Union on Beardsley Ave. on Jan. 23. Colemanis has been charged with robbery with a deadly weapon.
However, police are still looking for a second person of interest, Shawn Marks, 26, for his involvement in the robbery as well.
According to investigators, the two men showed a handgun to clerks at the credit union, took money from the counter and then ran away on foot.
No one was harmed during the robbery, and police are asking that anyone with information on the whereabouts of Marks call the Elkhart Police Dept.
