Police are investigating a second home invasion in Berrien County, after they say two men posing as cops forced their way into a residence and stole money from the homeowners.
It happened last night around 9:45, in the 5000 block of North M-140 in Watervliet Township. The two men allegedly came up to the front door and claimed to be police officers.
Once they got inside, the suspects held up the two victims and got away with an unknown amount of cash. The victims say at least one of the men was armed with a handgun.
The first suspect is described as a white man in his 50's, around 6 foot 3 inches tall and 270 pounds with gray hair and receding hairline, a gotee, a large build and a deep and raspy voice. He has a large build and was wearing dark slacks, a white button down shirt and cowboy boots.
The other suspect was described as a white man in his late 40's, around 6-feet-tall and 180 pounds with dark hair and a slender build. He was wearing also wearing a white button down shirt along with a dark windbreaker.
Police say the men may have gotten away in a dark-colored four-door Buick with a possible model year in the 2000's.
