Police searching for two men posing as police in a home invasion

Police are investigating a second home invasion in Berrien County, after they say two men posing as cops forced their way into a residence and stole money from the homeowners.

It happened last night around 9:45, in the 5000 block of North M-140 in Watervliet Township. The two men allegedly came up to the front door and claimed to be police officers.

Once they got inside, the suspects held up the two victims and got away with an unknown amount of cash. The victims say at least one of the men was armed with a handgun.

The other suspect was described as a white man in his late 40's, around 6-feet-tall and 180 pounds with dark hair and a slender build. He was wearing also wearing a white button down shirt along with a dark windbreaker.

Police say the men may have gotten away in a dark-colored four-door Buick with a possible model year in the 2000's.
