Police search for suspect after a man broke into a restaurant in Plymouth

Plymouth, Ind. Police are working to track down a man who broke through a Plymouth restaurant's roof to try and steal some cash.

It happened at the Symphony Family Restaurant in the 1400 block of North Michigan Street, according to our reporting partners at WKVI.

Detectives say the man came into the restaurant through the attic early Saturday morning, and collected the money from the office. The culprit didn't get very far with the money, however, because he was surprised by the restaurant's owner, and ran off.

Surveillance photos show the burglar with a white cloth over his face, wearing a green jacket. Police say he's about 5’7” with short hair.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Plymouth Police Department.
