Police in Buchanan busted a large marijuana growing operation, seizing nearly $60,000 worth of live plants. The bust happened Wednesday night at a home the 400 block of Third Street in Buchanan.
Police say the homeowner wasn't there when they searched the home. Officers are now working to get an arrest warrant for the unidentified 35-year-old. Once captured they face charges of manufacturing marijuana and possession of the drug with intent to deliver.
