Osceola Police are looking searching for a blue-green Chevy Cavalier involved in a shooting.

Osceola's seen a rash of burglaries in the neighborhood near St. Joseph and Adam's streets.

An Osceola resident noticed a strange car parked near a wooded area. The resident then watched four white males load items into the car. The resident began moving toward the car. As he approached, one of the men from the car began firing shots at him.

The resident, who also carries a gun, began firing shots back. One of his bullets hit the car's engine.

The driver of the car tried to run over the resident as the car took off.

Police say it was one of the residents in the car that made the call to dispatch.
