It took 11 months, but an arrest has been made in a Benton Harbor armed robbery.
It happened at the Wings and Things party store in the 700 block of Main Street on December 18 of last year.
A man came into the store wearing a white mask and black clothes. He struck an employee several times with a pair of pliers and demanded money.
The pliers were found at the scene with the name Leann on them. In October of this year, police found several tools at an apartment, also with the name Leann.
The owner of the tools said a friend was using them.
Herbert Hamilton, 56, admitted to the robbery and was charged with armed robbery and assault.
He is already in prison on an unrelated charge of larceny that happened two weeks after the robbery at Wings and Things
