Olympic fever is in full swing in Plymouth as Mayor Mark Senter honored one of the city's own on Friday.
Senter unveiled a new street sign dedicated to Olympic 15-hundred meter star Morgan Uceny
The street, now called Morgan Uceny Run, is usually known as Randolph street across from the high school.
Uceny won't run for a few days, but she has been the talk of the town for the last few weeks.
"How often does a city our size, have a representative that is first class 1500 meter,” Senter said. “For her to be from Plymouth and for her to be representing not only the United States of America but Plymouth and the state of Indiana, is just awesome."
Fittingly, the sign is red and white on one side and blue on the other.
Uceny begins her run for the gold in the 1500 meter run preliminaries on Monday.
