PNC bank robbed in Mishawaka

Mishawaka, Ind. A Mishawaka bank was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday afternoon, and the suspect is still on the loose.

The person, believed to be a man, went into the PNC Bank in the 300 block of Bittersweet Road. He demanded money, which one of the tellers gave him and then he took off.

A police K9 unit was unable to find him while searching the area. A photo taken with the bank's surveillance camera reveals who police believe is a man, wearing a t-shirt over his face, and baggie blue jeans.

If you have any information about the robbery, you can report it to crime stoppers at 574-288-STOP.
