A Warsaw man is dead after his motorcycle collided with an SUV in Fulton County.
It happened around 5 p.m. near the intersection of State Road 19 and Division Road, that's just north of Akron.
Police say the driver of the SUV, 52-year-old Arissa Grossman of Akron, was stopped at the intersectio, when she turned left onto State Road 19 and into the path of a motorcycle traveling southbound.
The motorcyclist, 39-year-old Thomas Witmer, ran into the driver's side of the vehicle and was thrown from his bike.
Despite wearing a helmet, Witmer died at the scene from blunt force head trauma caused by the severe impact of the crash.
Grossman wasn't hurt and was issued a citation for failing to yield to cross traffic.
