106 kids are recuperating from an illness outbreak at a Notre Dame Sports Camp. The students were staying at five different residence halls for various sports camps like lacrosse, basketball, tennis, hockey and football.
The kids suffered from vomiting, nausea, and diarrhea. Some students stayed at the school for treatment, while others went to the hospital.
Lab results have confirmed that the cause of the outbreak was a Norovirus. The Norovirus is considered to be the most common type of “stomach bug” in the U.S.
Officials believe it's most likely related to food, or a virus.
