No injuries after a vacant home caught fire

No one was injured in a fire that did $10,000 in damage to a home on South Bend's west side. It happened in the 900 block of North Elmer Street just after midnight.

That's where firefighters found flames coming through the home's back door. It took about 30 minutes to get the fire under control.

The home was vacant, and no one was injured. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
