In Niles Sunday, the Riverfest wrapped up a weekend of celebrating one of Michiana's biggest natural resources: the St. Joseph River.
There was music, food, raft and dragon boat races, all along Front Street and Riverfront Park downtown.
Attendees could also walk through the vendors selling arts and crafts, making this one of the most popular annual events for the city.
“It's the people of Niles and this community,” said Tom Majerek, Festival Entertainment Coordinator. “They really enjoy it and we all work together and it's just one time during the summer that we all get together downtown and just have some fun.”
This was the 20th year for the Riverfest.
