NewsCenter 16 broadcast schedule of inauguration events

Live Inauguration coverage begins at 10a.m. on NewsCenter 16. That means there will be no noon broadcast.

Here’s a schedule of events for the broadcast:

8:45 - Obama party attends service at St. John’s
11:30 - Ceremony begins with remarks by Senator Schumer
11:45 - Vice President Biden sworn in by Associate Justice Sonya Sotomayor
11:50 - James Taylor performs “America the Beautiful”
11:55 - President Obama sworn in by Chief Justice John Roberts
11:57 - 21 gun salute & “Hail to the Chief” by U.S. Marine Band
12:00 - President Obama delivers inaugural address
12:20 - Kelly Clarkson performs “My Country Tis of Thee”
12:30 - Beyoncé performs National Anthem
12:35 - Benediction
2:20 - President Obama reviews troops on the East Front
2:30 - Parade begins, ending around 5:30

The Culver Academies Black Horse Troop and Equestriennes will be part of that parade. It's the 100-year anniversary of their first appearance in 1913.

If you're looking out for them in the parade broadcast, they'll be near the end. They follow the Coast Guard and Merchant Marine units.

The Black Horse Troop will lead the way, all of them holding American flags. The Equestriennes will follow close behind.
