If you are looking for a job or know somebody who is there is still time to apply for a position at a new South Bend facility.

Sanctuary at Holy Cross is hiring for its new rehabilitation and wellness center.

They are looking for registered nurses, LPN’s, social workers, receptionists, and people to work in their housekeeping and dining departments.

The new addition will provide senior focused rehabilitation and nursing care to the residents of Michiana.

They have 48 private suites but looking for people who will help get their residents back home.

“These are people that really have a wonderful ability to connect with the human spirit. It's such an essential piece of the rehabilitation process,” said Jessica Shirley of Trinity Senior Living Communities.

“We want people that are willing to build a relationship with our guests here,” she added. “To know them on a one on one basis, understand they like their coffee at 7 a.m. instead of 7:30 a.m. Those are the kind of people we are looking for.”

So far, nearly 250 people have applied for the center that will open October 1st.
