New Carlisle mother in court after charged with child neglect

A New Carlisle mother charged after her children were found dead inside the trunk of her car was in court Tuesday.

Jacqueline Wilk has been arrested on two charges of child neglect. Tuesday, her trial that was originally scheduled to begin October 29, was moved to February 4.

Back in June of last year, Wilk's sons, Dominick Wilk, 4, and Issac Dunner, 2, died after getting into the trunk of the car outside the home where they lived with their mom and grandparents. A forensic pathologist says heat caused the half-brothers' organs to shut down.
