Notre Dame fans have been buzzing since the weekend about the team's 12 and 0 record, and of course, a trip to Miami for the National Championship game.
Fans are starting to buy their flights and travel arrangements, even before they've been assured tickets to the game. Many say, they're making the trip without.
One place fans are hoping to score tickets is Anthony Travel Agency right on the Notre Dame Campus.
"Phones have been going crazy, our emails going crazy. Everyone is so excited for the irish this year," says Ann Roepke, the Senior Event Coordinator at Anthony Travel Agency.
The agency is offering a drawing for fans to enter and gain the opportunity to buy packages that include hotel accomodations in Miami, ground transportation to and from the game, credentials, a program and of course, tickets to the game.
"This game ticket is going to be a tough ticket to get. We are getting very limited number of game tickets, and also the hotel rooms are very limited in Miami as well, so that's why we've done the drawing so that everybody has a fair shot into purchasing this package with the game ticket," says Roepke.
Packages are going from $1,700 to $2,400 per person. Fans can still enter to win the chance to buy packages.
Students hope to win lottery tickets to the game, but even without them, many say they're heading to Miami.
"I already booked my flight, so i'm going but maybe not going to the game," says Senior Caroline Lennon. "You almost can't not go, everyone would just feel silly. Like 10 years from now people will say you oh you're senior year you were in the national championship game, did you go? You can't be like no, I just stayed home and twidde my thumbs."
The BCS Selection Show is Sunday, so fans can expect to find out more information about game tickets and travel packages this weekend.
