South Bend, Ind. It is the only hotel north of Indianapolis to receive such a high rating, and it is just a short walk away from a well-known university landmark, the golden dome.
Wednesday the Morris Inn is pleased to receive a four diamond rating from AAA Travel. The hotel received the ranking after renovations the past nine months and becomes the 10th hotel in the state to achieve the rating.
AAA ranks hotels on a "one to five" diamond status. The Morris received a higher ranking this fall, with more upscale amenities, better guest services and ambiance throughout the inn.
“The service experience within four diamond tells you that you are going to a place that is going to be a beautiful facility, more importantly an independent third party like AAA has told you that the service standard that you are going to receive is on par with about five percent of the hotels in the country,” says Joe Kurth the general manager of the Morris Inn.
Less than five percent of the 300,000 properties approved by AAA receive the four diamond status. The inn has yet to be rated by Forbes, which rates hotels with a star system.
