Two more meningitis deaths are linked to southwestern Michigan.
87-year-old Viola Copsey of Constantine died early Monday morning, and 83-year-old Jack Durben of Edwardsburg died November 10th.
That's according to our reporting partners at the Elkhart Truth.
A local law firm filed five new complaints on behalf of other clients, and will amend the lawsuits on behalf of Copsey and Durben to wrongful death. Attorney Doug Small, of Foley and Small, plans to file on behalf of a dozen more within the next two weeks.
A Cassopolis, Mich. woman died from the infection earlier this year.
